Review: Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art in Bubblegum and a new workout!

I bought this nail polish the other day at Sephora with the Blueberry.  It runs at $10, and in my opinion, it is definitely worth it.  It dries so fast which is great for me, I believe I mentioned in my other review.  It's also the perfect pastel in my opinion.  I think it does look a bit strange with my skin tone though.  I guess I'm not used to something matching so closely!  The color in the bottle is pretty much the exact color that it goes onto my nails.

I wanted to do another review, but I was so tired after work last night I just went to sleep.  I'll try to do one tonight!  I don't have to work until 1 tomorrow, so I can sleep in a bit.  I wanted to skip a day of this photoblogging challenge because that's what my last few posts have been, but I'll skip the next one to do a review.

For now, I've just been using this one.  It's the only light colored neutral that I have (every other one is black!) and I've been dying to use it!

Day 3: Something you bought today.

I wanted to do a longer post, this plus a review of the Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art in Bubblegum, but I don't have time.

I have to get ready for work, so I only have time for the day 3 of the photoblogging challenge.

Hopefully tomorrow I can write up a quick review, or maybe even later tonight.

Anyway, I woke up eariler today to go to Sephora to get my hands on more of the Hello Kitty line.  This time I bought a cream blusher stick and I bought an eyeshadow stick.

I've never used a cream blusher before, so I'm going to use my regular blush today until I can play with the cream blusher.  Last thing I want to do is put it on wrong and look silly at work!  It's definitely going to end up my purse for its life though, definitely because it's Hello Kitty, as the reason so far.

Anyway, later on I hope I can do an actual review on these items.  I still have the Bubblegum polish to do and I haven't even opened my Pen Pal liquid liner pen yet.

Day 2: Someone you adore- 5 reason why.

My mum

she still steps in to help if I need it

5) She's a ridiculously caring person and a good listener, and she puts up with me

I might just be biased saying that, but it's true!

She's the best person I know, and I love her so so so much!

Day 1: Self portrait- share basics/make an intro.

Photo-blogging challenge!  I've been doing just fine with keeping up with my blogging (Yay resolution! The first I've ever stuck to!) but I saw this photo-blogging challenge on another blog (Kimmie.Girl) and decided that I wanted to do it!

 So here's day 1.

So the basics.

My name is Mika, and I'm 19, soon to be 20.  I live in the US, in Florida where it is always hot, and we have about one week of cold in the winter. I was born on the 10th of April so that makes me an aries.  I really love fashion, but I'm going to school for a major in English Literature and I want to translate books.  I have an obsession with buying new things, whether I need them or not.  I'm super pale, especially for living in Florida, but I have a love/hate relationship with the sun, and want to move somewhere where the sun doesn't shine so much.

Review: Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art in Blueberry

I bought this nail polish the other day at Sephora.  It runs at $10, and in my opinion, it is definitely worth it.  I've never used a nail polish that dries so fast.  It's also the right colors in my opinion.  The blue is just what I was looking for and it's definitely pastel-y. The color in the bottle is just a slight bit lighter than how it appears on my nails, but it's still super close.  Paint is always darker when it's dry! 

Sephora Shopping

I've been looking at the Hello Kitty line from Sephora since it came out.  I'm determined to get everything that they have at some point, but what I really want is the makeup brushes.  Mum said that she'll get them for my birthday!  Anyway, today was a day filled with Hello Kitty.

First mum and I went to go look at a car for me, but sadly, the dealership sold it on Thursday!  Why have it advertised online if you don't even have it?  So that was a bust, but we did go to the mall afterward, and I was able to go to Sephora and get some cosmetics to treat myself.  We also went to Greenwise, and I got some yummy chocolate digestives.  Hobnobs to be exact!  I'm so excited about it.  I've been dying to try them, so I'm going to have a couple with my tea tonight.  

Mini Haul

So I got some new batteries for my camera (I really should look into getting rechargeable ones) so I figured now is a good a time as any to share my mini haul!

I went to Tampa the other week.  I want to say maybe two weeks ago?  And my grandfather gave me his credit card to buy myself something nice as a Christmas gift.  My friend and I went to Urban Outfitters. I haven't been in one so long and I found things that I loved. I originally went to just get a black cardigan to replace my H&M one that I wore to threads, but of course I found other things that I wanted! 

Updates and Giveaways!

I need to get super better at updating!  Hopefully I'll get on that soon.  I found a blog challenge that I think will be fun to do, but I want to wait until I get my hair cut tomorrow to start it.  I want to start with a fresh new look!

I also got some more of my smashbox precision pen liner, so if I get a chance, I would really like to do a review on it.

I also have a pair of Hana SPC Hyper Circle Brown lenses coming to me from Shoppingholics.  I can't find anywhere what they look like on light eyes (I hope they look good!).  So I want to do a review on those for other people like me who have light eyes!  I hope they look good.  I'm not too sure that they will, but I hope I'm wrong.  I don't think they will look natural on me, but i've seen a lot of reviews of them on darker eyes and they look gorgeous~  We'll see how it turns out! 

Onto my next reason for blogging!  I stumbled across this giveaway while on Tumblr, and I'd like to share it as well as enter!  It's open internationally and the link is here Giveaway!

It has Dollywink lashes, a cute chocolate shaped compact mirror, a Dollywink eyelash case, and a fringe holder for when you're doing your makeup!  I've been dying to try Dollywink product, so this is awesome!

I also found a website that has a ton of makeup products that ship here to the US!  They carry Dollywink, so I've bookmarked it, and when it's time for some new makeup (or when I have money~) I want to buy from there.  I want to buy the Dollywink liquid liner in Deep Black.  I'm surprised at the price!  It's so cheap, with shipping, it comes to about $18~.  I paid $22 for my Smashbox liner, so if from what I've heard from the reviews is true, I'll hopefully get an eyeliner that works the way I need it to for a cheaper price than my Smashbox!  It might last a little longer, too, I hope.  I think my Smashbox lasted maybe 2 months before it dried out.  I'm hoping it's because I might have left it open for too long while I was using it or messing around with it.  We'll see how long this current one lasts. 

I'm also going to get to work on this layout.  I just changed the background, but the bow looks a bit out of place, doesn't it?  I really love the background though, and it's currently what I'm using as my lappy's background!  It's so gorgeous and vintage, isn't it beautiful? 

Another thing to add to my to-do list.  I had a mini shopping haul at Urban Outfitters (well maybe not a haul, 4 or 5 things?) and I'll post about them eventually.  Especially considering it was two weeks ago!

Week Update

Just a quick update about my circle lenses.  I've gotten so many compliments!  Especially at work.  Makes me feel so good. :3  I'm so glad I got them, though I've been wearing them so much, I don't know if I could go back to my normal contacts!  They're like a part of me now! 

Review: EOS Max Pure Gray 14.5 mm

This is my first pair of circle lenses, and I absolutely love them!  I wanted to go with something that would enhance my natural color as a start (which is anywhere from green, to blue, to gray) before I went with something that was say pink or black. 

Memo Boards (Completed!)

So I finally finished my memo board.  I sewed on some buttons in to anchor the ribbons.  Looking at it now, I notice that one of my ribbons is too close to the other, so my diamonds are a little off, but I'm still super proud of it and I love it, so I'm going to keep it, until I decide to fix it. At this moment, it doesn't bother me as super much right now.
