June Haul

Happy June! This year is just flying by. Only a few more months until school starts up again! So much to do. Anyway, when I was cleaning out my wallet the other day, I found a F21 gift card. Such a surprise. I forgot all about it, but for my birthday my friend had gotten me a gift card. So I figured, 'Why not?' and did a bit of shopping. I'm surprised at how much I was able to get. I haven't been in a F21 store in ages, and it's been even longer since I've been on the website. I was pleasantly surprised at what they had, and just about everything I got was from the sale section, with a few exceptions.

I was unsure of this bag. I took it in and out of my cart so many times before finally deciding to get it, and I'm glad I did. I thought it would be a lot smaller than it is, but it's actually quite large! Perfect for travel.

Picked up some cosmetic items. I've never needed an eyelash curler because my lashes are naturally quite long and curled, but I thought it would make using falsies much easier, so I thought why not!

The two lashes on the right I bought for my mum. She expressed an interest in falsies when she saw mine, so I bought her some to play with!

I love this dress, but unfortunately it's a bit too big. I wish they had a smaller size, but they didn't have the option online, so I will have to take it in a bit! Fortunately, the seams are in such a place that it will be easy to take in the top a bit and take up the skirt a little! The fabric was amazing though. I was expecting for the quality to be lower, and the fabric to be a lot lower quality than it is, but it's so nice and soft. Love the bandeau, too. A lot of the ones I've tried in the past have been ill-fitting, but this one fits perfectly. I want lace everything this season!

I'm addicted to hats, and couldn't pass this one up.

Picked up the necklace for my friend! She loves Seungri from Big Bang, and seeing as his nickname is Panda, I thought it was a cute gift!

I was really pleasantly surprised about the quality of the items from F21. I'm so used to everything being quite low-quality and cheap, and really not durable at all. If I didn't have the gift card, I don't think I would have bought anything, but I'm glad I did. It was a pleasant surprise, and looking online is so much nicer than looking in the stores. At least when it comes to F21. I hate stores that have all their product crammed together. It makes it so difficult to find anything appealing and takes so much time!

Break Time~

Oh my gosh! I feel like I've only been gone a few days, and there's so many blog posts to catch up on! Exam week has officially started, even though I've already had two exams a couple of weeks ago. Just finished my first exam of the week! 日本語の試験は易いです！ (Now how embarrassing would that be if that was wrong!)

Anyway, taking a break from studying and reviewing to update!

My Brother's 21st! + Giveaway

Really just a pic post.  My brother was so unfun.  We went to eat at the ale house, he nursed a beer over three hours.  We went to the pool hall and stayed there for hours while he nurses a long island iced tea.  BORING.

My sister, her friend, and I had an amazing time. I was sober.

 There were a ton of other pictures, but I like these the best!  I especially love that silly face!

Make It Work! + Giveaway

Just a super quick post!  School's been crazy, and everything's really been weighing me down lately.  It feels like I must be in a slump.  I need to work myself out of it!  So I haven't been online much.  Just been trying to focus on school to drown everything else out.  One good thing about my weekend though, Tim Gunn was at my mall!  He was hosting a fashion show to launch the fall lines for Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, and Lucky Brand.  He was also giving styling tips as the models went down the runway.  The coords they picked were all pulled from the stores in my mall.  There was also a QA session after the show.  I really wanted to ask if he would be doing any more college tours, or if he had any good advice for someone hoping to get into fashion school, but I never got to ask.  Regardless, it was a lot of fun.  I was pleasantly surprised at the pieces that were in the collection, especially because I'm not really a fan of any of those brands.  Lucky had some super cute dresses, and Juicy had some really cute coats.  If only I were not a poor Uni student with no job.  They had an incentive.  If you spent $150 at any of those stores and presented your receipt, you'd get into the after party, and get to meet Tim Gunn, take a picture with him, talk to him, and enjoy refreshments and music!  That's the only downside to my Saturday.  I was so sad that I couldn't afford it.

Anyway, I was actually pretty close.  I made sure to get there super early, when the mall opened (good thing I did, too!) and managed to snag a seat right behind the VIP and Media in the third row.  (VIP being the first and media being the second!) I couldn't believe how close I was to him!  He's one of my role models, seriously.  I love watching him on Project Runway, and I love his books. (He's coming out with a new one next year!)  He's definitely one of my favorite people.  He's always so polite, well-dressed, and well-spoken.  I wish there were more people like him around!

Review: Bison Bakkanto Moroccan Lava and a giveaway mention!

I've always wanted to try a sweat bath, especially after Jenny has posted about them so much! I definitely don't know exactly what I expected, but it was much more mild than I expected.  When I hear sweat bath, I immediately think it would be like I'm sitting in a sauna and be sweating bullets, but it was actually quite comfortable.  That's hoping that I did it right!

Updates and Giveaways!

I need to get super better at updating!  Hopefully I'll get on that soon.  I found a blog challenge that I think will be fun to do, but I want to wait until I get my hair cut tomorrow to start it.  I want to start with a fresh new look!

I also got some more of my smashbox precision pen liner, so if I get a chance, I would really like to do a review on it.

I also have a pair of Hana SPC Hyper Circle Brown lenses coming to me from Shoppingholics.  I can't find anywhere what they look like on light eyes (I hope they look good!).  So I want to do a review on those for other people like me who have light eyes!  I hope they look good.  I'm not too sure that they will, but I hope I'm wrong.  I don't think they will look natural on me, but i've seen a lot of reviews of them on darker eyes and they look gorgeous~  We'll see how it turns out! 

Onto my next reason for blogging!  I stumbled across this giveaway while on Tumblr, and I'd like to share it as well as enter!  It's open internationally and the link is here Giveaway!

It has Dollywink lashes, a cute chocolate shaped compact mirror, a Dollywink eyelash case, and a fringe holder for when you're doing your makeup!  I've been dying to try Dollywink product, so this is awesome!

I also found a website that has a ton of makeup products that ship here to the US!  They carry Dollywink, so I've bookmarked it, and when it's time for some new makeup (or when I have money~) I want to buy from there.  I want to buy the Dollywink liquid liner in Deep Black.  I'm surprised at the price!  It's so cheap, with shipping, it comes to about $18~.  I paid $22 for my Smashbox liner, so if from what I've heard from the reviews is true, I'll hopefully get an eyeliner that works the way I need it to for a cheaper price than my Smashbox!  It might last a little longer, too, I hope.  I think my Smashbox lasted maybe 2 months before it dried out.  I'm hoping it's because I might have left it open for too long while I was using it or messing around with it.  We'll see how long this current one lasts. 

I'm also going to get to work on this layout.  I just changed the background, but the bow looks a bit out of place, doesn't it?  I really love the background though, and it's currently what I'm using as my lappy's background!  It's so gorgeous and vintage, isn't it beautiful? 

Another thing to add to my to-do list.  I had a mini shopping haul at Urban Outfitters (well maybe not a haul, 4 or 5 things?) and I'll post about them eventually.  Especially considering it was two weeks ago!
