Nail Polish Strips

The best things ever created!  I'm absolutely horrible at doing my own manicures.  I always smudge my nails first things first.  Even after I try so hard to not hit anything and just sit completely still (I normally do my nails while watching a movie) I always end up smudging them. I also can't help but check if they're dry and I always get my fingerprints on them.  Not only that, but 9/10 I do my nails before bed and when I wake up in the morning they're chipped and smudged.  You'd think I'd learn, but no.  So this new product is really my new best friend.  

Second and Third

So I made a second and third batch of macarons.  The second batch browned.  The oven was too hot, which is depressing, but they still taste good!  They're vanilla flavored and blue, with again, nutella filling.

Memoboards (Inc.)

It's incomplete for now, but I started my memo board!  I chose a pink damask fabric, super cute and covered my old bulletin board.  I put two layers of batting down to give it some cushion and stretched the fabric around it and stapled into place.

First Attempt

So my first attempt at making macarons didn't work out so well.  I got everything sifted and beat the egg whites until they were all foamy and then added in the sugar but as soon as the sugar went in it went pfft from there.  Instead of getting peaks I got soup!

Today I feel full of creativity!

On top of making my memo board today, I want to make macarons.  I found a cute recipe online (search google, there are tons of them!)

I plan to make them a pale pink with a nutella filling.  Probably vanilla flavored for now, unless I can find a rose extract at the grocery store in which case, they'll be rose with a hazelnut filling.  So delicious.  I can't wait to do them!
