England!

Hello, lovelies! How are all of you?

I've finally made it to England! It is so pretty here, and the school's campus is gorgeous. I really don't think I could have made a better choice. The weather is perfect here, too! Sure it can be a little rainy, but I love the rain. It's proper October weather, too. It's mostly been around 10-15˚C. Perfect weather!! Around this time it is normally 32˚C in Florida. So hot!! I'm also not used to the voltage, and had my converter up too high and ruined my flat iron! Ah I feel so stupid for forgetting to turn down the setting.

I've not had internet in such a long time it feels like! I had ordered a pack that had an adapter, and I didn't get it until today; my laptop has been dead since Monday!

Anyway, I've got a few pictures from around campus and in town, so I will share them if you don't mind!

There are so many ducks on campus! They also walk right up to your feet looking for food! That day all of these ducks came right up to me and started quacking at me. I looked at them and said "I'm sorry guys, I have no food for you!" and the duck got upset and quacked angrily at me while walking away! Rude haha.

This is what part of the town looks like! Sorry for the slightly blurred picture as I was walking! Sadly, all the shops seem to close quite early. This was around 1800! We did end up finding a good bar/comedy club to stop and have a drink! I've been hanging out with two of my flatmates a lot.

This is the last picture I have, and it's the view I have from my window! I live on the top floor of my building, so I have the best view I think! (Though some of the other houses have more floors.)

I wish I had more pictures, but a lot of my time has been spent sorting out registration and unpacking. There are also parties every night because it is Fresher's Week! My flatmate has gone to every one so far, but I have only been to the one on Sunday and the one last night. Both times were very fun but whew, I don't think I've ever been to such big parties or had so much to drink!

I will come back next time with more photos. I've also opened my Nudy Grey vials, so I can review those soon! I forgot to take pictures of them in the vials though, oh well.

Inspo Post~

Where did I go?! I totally disappeared.  I haven't read any blogs or commented or anything!  School's started and it's set me way behind on everything.  I said I'd never take another literature course, but here I am taking two!  Roman Literature and Russian Literature!  Oh I feel like I'm in way over my head.  I'm also trying to get some school applications finished.  Apparently I write too american.  How do you even write too american?! What does that even mean?!  I'm working on trying to fix that.

Anyway, just a bit of inspiration for this month.  A couple of these images are floating around on tumblr, they're not mine.  I have them on my phone, and they go everywhere with me!  Consulted often for shopping.  It's not much, but I'm slowly building it up.  It's all over the place, too!  I'm feeling big on spikes, studs, chains, and leather.  I've started studding and spiking a denim vest, when it's cooler weather, my outfit revolves around my leather jacket. I've been mixing it with a thin oversized scarf, and I'm always on the lookout for longer oversized shirts, and I've been wearing leggings with pretty much everything!  

But there are some days when I like to be a bit more girly, softer neutrals and dresses and so much the opposite of the leather, studs and spikes!

I've also started alternating between a more neutral, natural look, and a heavier black look with my makeup.  Depends on how I feel that day!  I recently bought a bunch of nail varnish, as well, so a lot of varnish design ideas have been making their way onto my phone.

Vacation~

Well, I suppose it's not vacation anymore, seeing as I just got back!  I went to NY for the week to meet up with some friends, do some shopping, and blow off some steam from school.  It feels like it's been ages since I've been on, and I have so many blog posts to read and comment on, and so many posts to finish writing.

I will eventually get that BB Cream review up.  I got a bit distracted I'll admit when I finished midterms and finally classes.

I didn't get any pictures with my friends while in NY, and I'm so mad, because I brought my camera!  But I went shopping pretty much every day, and New York is always my favorite, because there's literally like 3 huge H&Ms within a few blocks distance of each other.  So so so much shopping.

Drowning in School!

There's so much going on!  I'm so far behind on reading and commenting on blog posts, because school has started!

My whole Contemporary Lit. class is all about apocalyptic, destruction and death in literature, focusing on post-war novels and films.  Definitely didn't know what I was getting myself into.  Definitely a depressing class.

New Car, New Apartment, New Location

I haven't been online much at all this week.  I've been scrambling around, packing, searching for a car, more packing, then moving.  Finally I can sit down and breathe!  I just moved today for school, which starts on the 27th!  It doesn't seem like I was gone for that long, but there's so many blog posts that I have to read and comment on!  Puuuu~ Hopefully my roommate and I can get the cable guy out here sometime in the next couple of days and get our internet connected [I'm using my phone, right now.] 

Anyway, just wanted to quickly update!  I have to do it whenever I think of it, otherwise I'll forget all about it, and never update ever. T.T That's what's happened in the past. 

Anyway, we're still decorating our apartment, so no pictures of that just yet, but I do have pictures of my car!  It's a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, and it's so cute!  It's a really pretty purple/gray called Mountain Amethyst.

Honestly, this post is mostly just a pic spam, but an update nonetheless.  Hopefully we can finish decorating the apartment soon, and I'll have an update about that, then a couple of reviews. Under the cut are pictures of my car, if you're interested! I'm really proud of myself because I didn't borrow any money from my parents!
